A couple of pictures from our recent trip - first, the Boat-Related ones. Misc. Non-Boat will follow later... ;)

This one takes people for afternoon sails out of Barcelona's harbour. A replica of an early 19th-century schooner, I believe. EUR 40 per person will get you a two hour sail.

This one I assume you CAN'T sail - at least nor for EUR 40 a head! :D But she's a beauty. Lots of classic wooden boats in Barcelona.

You can sail on the tall ship behind it, though - it is a semester-at-sea ship, from Canada, I believe.

And now, the Roman boat. All bronze. This is the famous Galleon Fountain, made in the 17th century, and located in one of the Vatican's courtyards. It is closed to the public, but we really wanted to see it, and a friendly security guard happened to be married to a Brazilian, so he took us to a balcony that comes out just over it. It is bigger than it seems from the photo - the size of a skiff.

Our favorite among Rome's many lovely fountains!
