Since it's not in my budget at the moment, I thought I'd pass this along:

Nice-looking boat (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2421544160&category=26433)

A 1991 boat built by the Landing School. Don't know what the seller's reserve is, but it could be a bargain -- the seller says he bought it at an estate sale and doesn't know much about it. Would be great to see someone here give it a good home.

Seller originally advertised it as a Haven 12-1/2, but . . .

Oops...

"PLEASE READ THIS THERE WAS A MISTAKE IN THE ORIGINAL DISCRIPTION. I received new information about this boat. It is a 19' buzzard bay sloop."

Poor soul really doesn't seem to know much about boats.

It's still a very nice boat. A little larger but very nice. :D

Talk about your proverbial "boat in a barn" story. An estate sale! The guy obviously bought it on a whim thinking there might be a few bucks to be made. The poor heirs really should have thought a bit before offering her up with the old china and stamp collections... An ad in "WoodenBoat" would have had ALL of us thinking about a trip down to the Jersey shore I'd bet!

He got it for, I think, $3,000...Once the RV dealer realized how much it was costing him to keep it at the marina.

That's Pete Culler's "Buzzard Bay Sloop". One of my favorites; I have the plans from Mystic. It was written up in WB some years ago in the designs section and described as his best design. It was his last....Rick
