How much for the #12 or #12 1/2 or is it a #112 and type of iron is in it, scraper or toothing?

Can you explain the brace? I have never seen one like that.

TimH, It's not slick, it's a little rusty....
Dave, #12, scraper. What can you tell me about this one?
Ion, Tac the Sea-cat is yours, if you send a boat to pick her up. ;)
Steven, Hat trick, several times smile.gif
Dan, But you need another! This one has sea time.
Ken, I'm somewhat puzzeled, too.

It's a corner brace for augering holes tight into corners.
Similar to a 90-degree joist brace only longer and with more power.

Dave, #12, scraper. What can you tell me about this one?To the best of my meager knowledge, the tool came in 3 variations.
#12 with plain Iron Face
#12 1/2 with a Rosewood Face attached to the Iron one
#112 with Iron Face, a bit longer body and a conventional Plane Tote/Handle
There was an article in FWW some time back about how to tune, sharpen and modify one of them.
You might search it out and for a few bucks D/L a copy of the article.

What is that group of nomads that must blood their knives whenever they bare the blade?
I ask because, well, I was using a scythe stone to clean up the slick, and....
