Has anybody used Carlson Hulls program?

I've installed Carlson Hulls plyboat program to have a bit of a play around with lines etc. It was a winzip download.

On my file page there are dozens of icons for different hull shapes but none of them open in graphic form except a dinghy called oarmouse and a file called 'hull'. The others will open as some sort of text file.

I have tried every type of program in my 'open with' list and they dont open.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the free version limited to the two I can open?

My computer is too old to install and run freeship. Time for an upgrade perhaps.

Any ideas?

If you double click on 'hull.exe' it should open. If it doesn't, you'll need to down load VBRUN300.DLL from Microsoft and put it in your Windows/system directory. That ought to do it.

What John said and then click on File>Open and select your boat.

By the way, I put the DLL in the same folder as the rest of the Hulls files and it works fine.

Thankyou, I'll try that.
