So who's gonna grab the free 33' Alden Malabar Senior? Or the free 37' R-Class Racing Sloop? Or the 1929 Alden Yawl, "Cynthia"?

I love those old photos!

Cool, you got yours today? Mine should be in the mail when I get home. I guess I'll put off that after work errand I was going to run.

Joe.

And my Messing About comes in this week too!!

It came the day before yesterday! But Mary didn't tell me and it sat on the table in the hall until this morning. redface.gif

I got mine yesterday. I guess I wasn't the only person who noticed the breach of flag ettiqitte on the cover of #180.

Just went down to pick up Tess at the bus stop. Beautiful fall day I decided to walk. Down at my bridge I was met by my postal lady. She smiled and saying she always loves to see how we decorate for Halloween. Then she handed me my mail gleaming in the afternoon sun the fresh new WoodenBoat :D :D :D

WOW. I never thought I would ever see the day Content was in the rescue section. I remember reading about her when I was just a young'n reading my first WoodenBoat magazine! How disturbing   :(

Got mine today.

I particularly liked the pic of the Brooksville Ferry (not far from here), and of the Piscataquis scow. There's a dam in South Berwick which has (had?) logs that leaned diagonally against the face. I was once (long ago) told that barges were winched up over the dam, sliding on those logs. I wonder if that was the sort of vessel...?
