Those flags are just the decorative set from West Marine, already strung together. If they say anything at all, it's probably, "I don't what this means, but it sure looks pretty." :D The American flag was attached to the peak halyard, as high up as I could get it. This boat has no backstay and I haven't figured out how to properly fly the flag yet. Always another project, ehh?

ALL RIGHT, JT! This seems to be a good fall for boat launchings on the forum. She looks great and she looks like she's floating right on her marks! What a great feeling is it, just seeing her floating there, ain't it? Were you as nervous as I was? ;) Congratulations! Enjoy that first sail, there nothing else like it in this life!

Most excellent JT! smile.gif
I'm sure more pics would be appreciated by all! I would especially like to see the pics that most boat designers/manufacturers rarely show: real, full sized people actually sitting down below!
I can hardly wait to hear the first sailing report! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Meer, you're right about those itty bitty cabins. I chopped this one back about 40% and left it open to the cockpit, sort of like a hard dodger. I had to get my wife to paint in there! redface.gif
Madisonville! Yes, indeedee, I'll be there, be sure to say hello!

Thanks for the kind words, all. She's a pleasure all right, and now to trailer her to new and distant waters. Ahh!

JT,
As always, I am in awe of anyone who builds boats. When they turn out as lovely as yours, I'm in double AWwwwwwwwwwwwe!
I expect our boats should meet in person. Unfortunately my family and job have my life planned to the minute for the rest of the year. No worries, our boats will last longer than that!
So, what's your next boat going to be? :D
