Calling for entries for the Schooner Race on Saturday, September 4, 2004.
Entry fee $35 ($50 after Monday, August 30). Entry forms available at
http://www.capeannvacations.com/schooner/app/. The race is being managed by
the Eastern Point Yacht Club this year; there will be a professional start
and course layout.
First gun 1300; multis usually start last. Sailing Instructions:

is for course A, a windward triangle 3 times around; the race comittee is
intent on making a good course for multis; I am in communication with them.
The FREE Festival Crew Party (buffet dinner, live band, cash bar) will be
held at the Seven Seas Cafe behind the Gloucester House Restaurant at 1800.
The lighted boat parade comes by the cafe at dusk, followed by fireworks at
2100.
The schooners race on Sunday 9/5, start at 1100. Reception and Awards party
at 1800 at the Gloucester Coast Guard Station for all crew includes a free
chowder/sandwich/salad buffet, wine & beer.
