I would like to find a source for the bronze flange nut that locks the tapered valve in a seacock. These seacocks have what looks like "NKN" embossed on them. It's a 3/8 coarse thread.

Hughman how many are you looking for? If this is your Frisco Flyer (looks like it is) I may have one in my storage locker. I’ll check either way but if I have any of them your more than welcome to have them. I replaced my seacocks and don’t really have a use for the originals. I’ll dig through my dreaded box-o-bronze and see what I have.

Why wouldn't you change that out with a ball valve?
