Can anyone give me an idea as to what a Volvo MD1 would be worth as a spare parts buy? I have one to get rid of, but have no idea as to the value of it here in the USA.

I have seen a couple of MD2B's up here for about $7-800 Canadian (a lot less in US $)I expect an MD1 would go for less, but not a lot less.

I heard of an MD2 which had been out of service for several years selling for $300 in New Orleans.

Where are you located?

Why is the engine being sold for parts?

Well, it isn't being sold "for parts". It has a stuck exhaust valve and bent push rod. I just don't want to have to work on it as I am getting older. I replaced it with a Westerbeke 2 cyl.

I'm in CT.
