The next Traditional Rigging Workshop on
USS Constellation in Baltimore's Inner Harbor
will be on Saturday, April 5th.

Show up at 8:30 and learn or practice traditional
rigging skills, like splicing and seizing, while
helping to maintain America's last all-sail war ship.

All experience levels invited.

Here's an opportunity to learn or practice
traditional rigging skills in Baltimore, Maryland:

Traditional Rigging Workshop
Saturday, February 8; 8:30-12:00 and continuing every other Saturday
Help restore the rigging of U.S.S. Constellation, using traditional methods
and modern materials. Learn splicing, serving, seizing and more. No
experience or knowledge required. Hands-on, participatory activity.
Possibility of climbing in the rigging (with safety harnesses) for those
so inclined. Winter-Spring 2003 project: To rattle down the starboard
mainmast shrouds.

U.S.S. Constellation is a 3 masted sloop-of-war, built
in 1854, and is the last all-sail warship built by the
US Navy. It's permanently moored in Baltimore's Inner Harbor as a museum. The Constellation's
