...will soon be occupied. :D
Just had a son at 20:51 CDT Sunday evening. Mom and child are doing well. Name to be determined. I like Ian or Iain. Any opinions? Pictures soon.
Have a great rest of the weekend

Great news, Dave!
I've never met an Ian I didn't like & admire. Iain's fine too, but he'll be spelling it out loud for the rest of his life.
Post pics!

Oh good, very good. Enjoy the first twelve years, the last six of you being guardian can be hell. ;) But seriously, good wishes. Being a good parent is the hardest and finest job available.
Ian. I had a friend with English parents on the street where I grew up. Ian was a strange name in that suburban wood. We called him by his middle name, David. I liked Ian, as a name and a friend.

It's the Scots version of John.

Many congratulations! Enjoy every moment. My daughter, Fiona, is now 8 1/2 months old. They grow too fast! Rest assured, every milestone is better than the last.

BTW, Ian is a great name!

Congratulations!
... On that name, however.... I met a guy named Ian in a pub in Marsden England. He proceeded to give me a ride to a little place called "Heybridge basin", where I spent about 5 minutes looking at his wooden sailboat named "Patience" (It's a Vertue), and spent the rest of the day swilling pint after pint of Adnam's Broadside ale... Just be forewarned... :D

Congratulations! Nothing in life feels quite as good as being a fadder! But you may want to hold on tight because it's a crazy ride from here on out and you aren't the one driving, anymore. tongue.gif
