Thanks folks. Its very gratifying that after a lot of worry and work things seem to be coming together. The mentorship and inspiring activities displayed by others on this forum have kept the momentum moving forward through the setbacks and monotony encountered on this journey. Also the differing and, sometimes, strident perspectives remind me that I'm not alone in my ignorance. The achievements of forumites demonstrate that persistence will result in woodenboat, I read somewhere that a man needs to plant a tree, raise a boy and build a boat before he's though. Whew... almost there.

Wow! Your craftsmanship is very impressive. Would you build me a boat next? :D

Doug,
I work for a conservation district where seventy-five cents of each dollar we operate on are soft (from grants). If funding doesn't come through soon.... how does July sound? Oh what kind of boat would it be? A Fennwick Williams cat design?
Thanks.
