View Full Version : Bermuda fitted dinghys - pictures

I found these on Imagestation. I've seen these boats on land, but never under way. They are about 14 LOA. & carry about 1200 sq. ft. of sail. Typical crew is about six. Oh yes, & there is one crew member who's only job is to BAIL! :D

A museum site on Bermuda which focuses on these boats has a photo sequence of one being swamped after piercing a wave. A real extreme boat.

Sheesh! and I thought I was running a lot of sail area for boat size! WOW! :eek:
