Pardon my French, but what the H##@ is that?! tongue.gif
And your plans, sir? :D
... only in LotusLand ...
That's quite a houseboat, Tim. What make/hp is the one-lunger out back? Is it a hydraulic drive?
It wouldn't be much use in the ocean waters around here, but it sure would be a cool cabin on one of the hundreds of lakes in my neighbourhood.

Neat.
Whose trailer?
Any problems getting it aboard?

Conrad. This from the "Hey Bob Smalser" thread, from a month of so ago. A moving challenge. http://www.boat-links.com/Atkinco/Misc/images/LadyOfTheLake-3.gif
That is a home-made boat that is destined to be an espresso stand. It was built by an eccentric years years ago. The engine is a Standard marine gas engine. (http://www.oldmarineengine.com/history/Standard/standard_gas_engine_co.htm) It has been in the water for the last 30 years and rented as a cabin at a local bed and breakfast. Insurance co wouldnt cover it anymore, so now I have it. :D
That trailer is what remains of an old single-wide trailer frame. It worked on the secont try after reinforcement. First try it bent. This time it worked pretty well....put my V10 to work though :D :D

I'm sure it will make a great expresso stand- and I hope you make a bunch of money. I can't envision it on the water though, but what do i know? :D
So, is Frodo the captain of that fine vessel/espresso stand? Also, can we look forward to seeing it at the Port Townsend and Lake Union Wooden Boat Festivals? I'll take a double tall Americano with room please. Thanks.

Its not the most seaworthy boat, but I did used to take people on excursions around the lake it was on every week in the summer. Apparently it blows round smoke rings out those 2 stacks and was quite a site to see. The people who dont really know much about boats get all excited when they see it. Especially old geezers like the one today taking pictures, saying he was gonna write a book about it. And he raced home and brought me a book on running gas engines from 1902. hehe It definately grabs peoples attention, and thats one of the reasons I think it will make a good espresso stand. Those pictures really dont do it justice, I will take some more tomarrow. Its interesting that this bost was built with the help of our local boatbuilding co. that just completed this

Considering that this is NOT riverboat country.

I like the engine- the rest reminds me of a floating(?) opium den.... :D
Did it float with the decks almost awash?
