I am just finishing a 15 foot Whitehall that I used as my learning boat. It was built to help prepare me for the real project... an Atkins 30 foot schooner. But... I have been working in my basement/garage, which is two rooms. Obviously not big enough for a 30 footer.

Does anyone in the greater Seattle area know of shop sharing opportunities, or cheap space (at least 30x50)? I've thought about buying a little industrial land and putting up a steel shed, but even that is now priced too high within 50 miles of Seattle. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. KB

These places usually have at least one or two ads on their bulletin boards for shared shop space:

</font> Rockler Hardware (Stone Way in Fremont/Wallingford)</font> Woodcraft Supply (Corson in Georgetown)</font> Crosscuts Hardwoods (1st Avenue South, by the 1st Avenue Bridge)</font>Also, there is, I believe, a boatbuilder's co-op up in Everett (but I can't find it in Google).

(at least 30x50) Be prepared to spend +/- $1500.

Thanks for the input. I will follow up on it.
