If I didn't live in South Carolina, this would be awfully tempting, albeit a lot of work. I saw this ad on ebay for what is essentially a free 1938 36' Alden sailboat, that someone has let go to hell. Tell me what you think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2417141154&category=26433
(I am not associated with the seller, I just hate to see this happen to nice old boats.)
I think she's a work of art, and you'd need a tonne of money to restore her. Has she ever been profiled in the save a wreck column of WB?

'Tis sad all right, but at least the seller's honest about the condition and the work needed. There have been more than a few that haven't.

It's not nescesarily free,if I am reading it right, he wants $500 to move it to a work sight or $2500 to move it off his property?
