quick and very powerful.
That's Steve taking the photo of us from the hatch. Have a look at the genoa . It's the last anyone will see of it because it blew the clew out in a rather major way on the passage race back. Good excuse to get a new sail I say!

Yes I know it's tense and it's cold Ish. Brighten it up a bit in a very small way is all I would do. It'll be your ( weather) turn soon. ;) How's the property thing going?

Hullo John,

Closings a month or so off. Had a building inspection, just to sus out the creaks and groans. Nuthin' major. Green light at this point.

I'm nervous. Hain't been an owner in quite a few years. 'Bout time ah grew up--again.

Had a dream last night. Funny, I take 'em more seriously than most.

Anyhoo, I was with an old lover. A real lover, even if a bit adolescent in our expression and length of time together. It was so good to see her, she was always wiser than I. She asked me, "Have you ever really said 'yes' to something?"

Hadn't to her, when maybe I should've, and it got me thinkin'. What do I want, at this stage in life, to say unreservedly yes to? What keeps me from it? Maybe old habits.

Be well,

Jack

I wouldn't make this your last post if I had plenty of extra info, John smile.gif . I think they are great postings.

Come on John, the real truth is, ... tomorrow's distraction, smile.gif . Go Silver Fern.

Warren.

ps, Good luck to all of New Zealand and the other New Zealand crew on the red and black boat. I had a bet today, odds of 13/8(on) Silver Fern. Alingi was 5/4 (on) and only paying 5/4 ( ) for the best of 9. I've cancelled my next three races, they clash with the Americas Cup, this is far too important, ... to just go dinghy racing.
