I miss my smokeless tobacco the most. Bet you thought I was going to say mind, but you have to be in the right mind to be able to lose it, and I was never there.

But seriously, as you know I have at times indulged in a little smokeless tobacco, but once again I'm off of it and have been for a little while.

Quitting is not a problem and the cravenings are not a problem, at least not near as bad as smoking. But I do seem to miss it more than smoking. With smoking I can smoke up to 3 packs a day and it takes a long time and a lot of will power to quit. Of course I've been off of cigerattes for a long time now.

Dipping on the other hand I can put down one day and not have bad cravings or go crazy from wanting a dip. But there is something about it when you're on long road trips or just cutting the grass or even out sailing the deep green. Don't know what it is, but I miss it.

Maybe if I remind you that it causes mouth cancer you won't miss it so much.

Just trying to help Chad. :D

Ever heard of surgery called a "commando"?
It involves removing part or all of the lower jaw and tongue...
...breathing through a tracheostomy tube in the neck...
...then there's the feeding tube through the nose...

...want to know any more...?

Thats good reasons and is also the reason I quit, but that don't mean I still don't miss it.

Chew gum. Sugarless so your teeth don't rot. Also, your wife will like your kisses much better, not that she's ever complained, I'm sure! :D How's that for incentive?

Shane smokeless tobacoo is kinda a cross between chewing tobacoo and snuff. And like all other tobacoo products it is addictive. Kinda one of them good ol' boy manly southern thing. You know the nastier the better. ;)

Defintily something that is not done around the wife, she can't stand it. But I don't do it no more, but it is something that I do miss.

I've heard it said that in some parts of the Canadian Maratimes, some chew this stuff:

Dulse. A type of seaweed. I've tried it, and it's got a salty, slightly sweet taste that get's overpowering if you get to agressive with it. There are commercial harvesters/distributors. Contains lots of iron and trace minerals.

But of course there's no nicotine.

Dan wouldn't that be the same thing as "rabbit" tobacoo?
