So, no more Nothern icecap in 100 years. No more permafrost either...what's going to hold the tundra together?
Oh well at least the fabled North West Passage will be open.
I think whether or not you believe global warming is a reality is no longer the point. I think the wise path is to believe it is a reality and start acting accordingly...if nothing else at least we will end up with a more efficient industry and cleaner air.

Politicizing it by debating whether we're having an effect is irrelevent. If ole Mother Earth is warming up, we ought to know about it and plan accordingly. Who cares if we're causing it; it seems it's coming whether we help it or not.

Nothing wrong with doing your part, though. We dumped our SUV a while ago.

 30% of the ice cap is gone......and some still don't believe the atmosphere is warming?....well, maybe they need to find there feet in water where it was always dry...someday in not to distant future.

Norske, I didn't say I don't believe. I said insisting we call the change global warming seems counter productive. Let's err on the side of caution, and try to do our part. Let's be aware it's getting warmer/worse, and plan for it.
