I see that you are not using a single piece of plywood on the sides or bottom, nor are you scarfing several piece prior to securing them to the frame. Yet you seem to be getting a nice smooth curve where they join. How? I have never done this.

Nice! But when I saw the picture I exclaimed, "Look, this guy is getting along with a garage smaller than mine." "Yeah," she said, "but what does it look like on the inside?" She's implying my shop is messy. Humph!

I don't know. Rolling her out in the sun like that makes her butt-joint look big.

AHP what I did is used 2x6 fir notched to fit
from the gunwal to the chine and shaped to the curve of the hull .Kind of like a long butt block . And norm the inside of the shop is spotless not because I am so neet but because the lift for SWMBO,S wheelchair is in the garage so if I don't keep it clean she tracks all the dust into the house. We all know what kind of problems that can cause to a boat building project.!!!!

Coming along quite nicely! It really is a flat bottom boat isn't it? I wasn't quite sure how flat untill your pics. Are you using exterior DF ply all over? So far so good!

Daniel I am using all A/A marine fir ply from harbor sales in maryland 1/2 in for the topsides ,two layers of 1/2 in for the bottm and 2 layers of 3/4 in and one layer of 1/2 in mahogany for the transom .I may have to slow down
some .If you check out my post "my other boat is broke youll see why.
