Joe,
I think you made this up. There is no boat on the rocks, and no old salt called you.

So, we fell for it.
Shame on you.

A local old salt and a buddy of mine lost his sailboat today

I got a call this morning at about 9:00 am from him saying his 22ft fiberglass sailboat had broken her mooring in Foundry cove and had drifted to the rocks along Constitution Marsh.

What makes you say that?

Yup it's still there as of yesterday. On the north side of Constitution Island mid way on the east to west shore.
What makes you say it is not there?

My buddy brought a camera the day we went out he is not as fast as me at emailing them. As soon as I get them I will post.

That is a pretty stiff accusation you have posted, Mr. E.

I see by your number that you have been here a while, and I think that is a good thing.

I also see that you have a modest post count, and I think that also is a good thing.

I do not associate Gary E. with outlandish assertions, which may or may not be a good thing.

Joe (CSOH) is a longstanding member who has, to the best of my knowledge, not been accused of outright intentional deception before.

I must ask you: Have you any more information on this subject?

Ross

It's the time. It's the weather. It's people's inherent weirdness. Let it go. Who knows what he was thinking(or not).

You've been pounced on for all kinds of weird stuff Joe. Every once in awhile you deserve a call. For example, I think you ought to leave Karen alone. But this is an untoward afront to you basic honesty.

Leave it be. We know you're honest. Christ, you're too honest sometimes. ;)

Joe,
See the other thread. This has served it's purpose which was to get your attention.

Glad your buddy recovered his boat.
