Okay for all yous fellas and sheilas who have probs unnerstandin us fellas from downunder... Ive done gone to the troubles to find the definitive Aussie lingo site!!!

Aussie lingo site is here!! (http://members.iweb.net.au/~pstorr/australia/lingo.htm)

heres a couple of examples...

A Hoon - a show-off with limited intelligence - that fits the kids perfekly! :D

Mob - group of people or things, not necessarily unruly

it's a Ripsnorter - something is really great

Talking on the Porcelain telephone - vomiting into a toilet (driving the Porcelain bus)

Nuggets - man's testicles

White pointers - lady sunbaking topless

tell you a Yarn - tell a story that maybe true or it might not be, that's for them to work out

And this one bothered me!!
A Sheila - a woman (not used any more other then some old timers)

Old flamintimers??? OLD TIMER??? ME??!!! STREWTH!!! 46 and termed by this galah as an old timer!!

And this one just phissed me off totally!
you are a Dingo - you are cunning bad person

here if "you are a dingo" you are a bit of a wild fella... try anything once

some of the terms are different to what we mean musta been written by some east coast waker meanings of some are different to us fellas over here

to carry the examples a bit more:

Yobbo - same as a yahoo but no values at all, looks like a slob always

This isnt quite as we in the west know it to mean... a yobbo is a galah a bit of a fool a crazy fella

You are a Galah - loud, rudely behaved person

Not around here! a galah is a fool... a dipstick... idiot... or someone that does something stupid that makes you laugh... can be used to explain someone like SteveflaminIrwin or I use it in me yarnin with me mates theyre galahs the lot of em or Im a flamin galah... meaning good people just a bit over the top!

Anothery?

Ga day or G 'day a freindly welcome (same as hello or hi)

Okay Im bein pedantic here... Its flamin gidday!!! not bloody G'day I mean who the bloody hell goes "G little apostophy thingy day"? no one!!... and whats that "Ga day" BS???... for ****es sake!!! ga day? an Aussie?? not a bloody chance! sounds like yer gaggin!! Over here at least its "gidday"!!

But aside from all that its pretty sharp  maybe it will give yer a handle on what we fellas are yammerin about... theres some spellin mistakes like "Buddy" instead of "Bundy" and "Bullamanka" instead of "Bullamakanka" but thats no worries you'll get the idea ;)

Hope it helps yer unnastan us fellas

Here's another site that has been helpful in trying to understand Dingo and his compatriots. :D

Aussie lingo site (http://www.artistwd.com/joyzine/australia/strine/)

And for Aussies trying to understand American:

Cool Whip: an artificial whipped cream substitute, manufactured by General Foods in 1966 (now by Kraft.) It's sold frozen in pint and quart plastic tubs, like those used for oleomargarine, sour cream, cottage cheese .... (Well, there were pint and quart sizes years ago when I was a Cool Whip cook, there may be other sizes now.) http://www.kraftfoods.com/coolwhip/ There are five flavors now? I bet they make one flavor per day; the teardown, cleaning, and rebuild of the cook/package line takes almost an entire shift. We used to do experimental runs at the end of the second shift, just so that we wouldn't have to do that.

I make real whipped cream at home, using a bowl and whisk. Faster and tastes better.

Dingo, you should know that in the local dialect here in Maine, "cunning" or more properly "cunnin'" means cute as a basket of kittens or as a new baby.

Funniest one I recall from reading those sites is a "toyshop with an awning" - I'll leave you to look it up! :D
