It's been foggy here all week, then Friday night it started raining. Yesterday afternoon I dumped 3.15" out of the rain guage. This morning I dumped another 3.85". Seven inches in 36 hours.

We've got this dam. Normally the water is about 18" below the top of it.

There's normally a 3' drop over the dam into the streambed, just upstream from the road. I think we may need bigger culverts. I think one is 24" and the other is 30" at present. The road comissioner is going to be a bit miffed. This is the third time this year (twice in May) that the road has flooded over, and it's washed away a lot of the shoulder on the downstream side.

But the ducks like it.

Where'd you get a picture of Joe's bridge? :D I'm glad I hauled the Marjie B out last week... 40mph gusts and 5 inches of rain over the weekend.... And it's supposed to keep on raining right through next Saturday. :(

I got just over 2" since Friday night. Still almost 14" short for the year. It was 80° on Friday, and 53° this morning. New blooms on my Rosa rugosa's this morning.

We are getting old hat at this we all move our cars across the bridge on to a parking spot off the road. I call my neighbor with he backhoe to let him know what's up. This morning we moved the cars back on our side of the bridge.

Dry & sunny here, if not too warm. But here is my all time favorite bridge - the Bissel Bridge, in the Berkshires near where I grew up.
