until I came across the blue cheese/fig jam combo I was only familiar with apple/blue cheese combos,,anyone have a unique matching worth passing on?

Ah yes indeed. That would be goat cheese and catfish pate on a Ritz cracker.

Gorgonzola and most any berry. Raspberries & blueberries for sure.

Gorgonzola or feta and pears.

Gorgonzola on a filet.

My mouth is watering.

Oh I like interesting food combo's. ;)
cheddar cheese and cocktail sauce.
peanut butter and jelly.
deer hotdogs and spicy brown mustard.
peas and carrots. :D

Dang.....now I got the munchies. tongue.gif

The best fruit cheese combo's I know of are, applesauce and cottege cheese and,
apple pie with a slice of cheddar cheese melted on top.

My grandfather would fold a home-made cream cheese with bitter orange marmalade and chinese ginger. Didn't like it as a kid but I do now.
