CAUTION Reachbuttter Email Scam

[Joe ( Cold Spring on Hudson )]

I have just been informed that one of our resident trolls ( wonder if you can think who ;) ) is using a close proximity to my email address to send emails to formites.

Please note the difference in my email address and the scam address

My email address is reachbutter@aol.com
Trolls email address is Reachbuttter@aol.com
Note the upper case R and the additional "t"

This is the email received was as follows:

Back during the great Dutch and Joe battle :D . scot our humble moderator changed one of my posts to say something like I wish you luck in your new love, Like I would ever say that to Dutch :D . Eventually both Dutch and myself were scoted for a brief time. During that time Al had posted some misleading information so I informed him as to the truth via a rare email that I would ever send him. Thats it big mystery over. Oooooh wow that was a weird one I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seats.

The fact is I'm pretty up front and honest on this forum maybe TOO Honest You Al have not proven yourself trust worthy at all.

Floyd...I also posted I couldn't...Why because it was a direct link...not an e-mail in itself...When Joe calls me on this bloody thing.using the same technique..it is not listed as an e-mail...at least not on AOL. All I stated was..it had your name on it...I am only saying that it appears you sent it. I am saying that I received it and it had some mention of Floyd in the address.

I received a communication...by whatever methods exist in today's tech. world...Floyd was mentioned in the address.
Who sent it...really doesn't matter...If you didn't great and if I accused you of doing so...I apologize...This is now closed.

I am really glad that I am gonna be outta here on my boat for a long...long time after April 1st...
I really don't need this sh*************************************t!

UNCAS, RFloyd779@aol.com would be the email address you would have received from Floyd, it is in his WBF profile so it's common knowledge. I think I will notify AOL of the Reachbuttter Email Scam. I think they have a very stern policy on such things.

For those less informed, AOL will allow up to 5 screen-names so it is very easy to create a new email especially one like Reachbuttter. The only problem is should AOL take action Reachbuttter and delete it, ALL additional SN will be voided. So essentially if RFloyd779 becomes an invalid AOL account we will know who sent the Reachbuttter Emails. Not pointing any fingers just an experiment like the vinegar & the WD-40 :D :D :D

I will tell you what has work for me for cleaning and bleaching. I have used Oxalic Acid and most of the time used a 2 part teak brightener. Most of my experience has been with various cedars and spruce. (canoe related items) It has always brightened and worked well. Hope this helps.
