mmm yes I thought so to... but while I was at a timber auction today I had 4 calls and 5 messages from him!!! But hey I was busier than a tic on roos bum so couldnt answer him and after the last message I turned the phone off

mmmm maybe I will ring him... on MONDAY!! :D

To be honest I dont really care if he doesnt offer me any more work... as Ive really had enough of going away now... sorta changed me tune a tad eh? but me wee tadpole hoons need me here and what with the house an stuff Im needed here by her highness the loverly possumpoop

So while at the auction I put some feelers out and got a few woodheads looking around for local work at some of the mines around Bunbury and even a couple of mills who they think may need a "good bloke" :D

Sounds like you were kind of frd up. He seems to have misjudged you ae "worker of last resort".

Good luck.

hey WD I worked at the Capel rutile sands mine, just south of Capel actually. Was quite a few years ago and a filthy job it was too, black iron oxide rain you could go outside without a facemask.
They were going to make me a foreman apparently but I split and drove a Morris 1000 van to Sydney instead...and now I'm here.
Ain't life grand :D

Living in NSW is a fitting punishment for that sort of treatrment of a Morris van. ;)
Seriously , that must have been an epic journey.

Ahh, Stiletto it was and it was one of my favourite cars, even though it was prone to vapour locks and stopping in wet weather (moisture in the distributor).
The Nullabor still had 300 odd miles of dirt road (1975) and I drove it to Sydney via the Alpine Way with virtually no handbrake.
Of course when you are young these are minor details
