Well I got her running and she is now sitting at the muffler shop waiting to get some pipes and mufflers.

To early for congratulations yet, give me some more time to drive her and see how she does, but so far so good.

Sorry, almost ashamed to admit. The water temp sending unit. Thought I already had it in, but that was another water temp sensor. Once I got that in she quite running out.

smile.gif Good! I've been following the story, but couldn't offer any help. I'm mechanically challenged. ;)

Real quick and than I'm taking her home.

Just got her back from the muffler shop, and had turbo mufflers put on and she sounds sweet. Not as loud as I feared and as the mufflers get a little wear on them the reasonate out good.

Side note. The inspection plate (or dust cover) that goes on the lower half of the bell houseing, is different from a V6 to a V8. The V8 has a bigger crank thus a bigger flywheel thus the flywheel hits the inspection plate and thus it had to come off.

Well, among other things. I don't think she's there for her good taste in clothing, though. tongue.gif

Kevin, thanks for not doubting me, I had enough doubt going on for the both of us.

Drove her back and forth to work (about 15 miles each way) and everything seems to be working fine. Need to do a little more "fabricating" on the fan shroud.
