I have to clean up, reseal and paint most of the interior. Build cabin doors, trim, fittings and rigging. I may leave the cabin interior unfinished till next year if time runs out.
She looks great. Glad I wasn't the builder who had to sell her to you. Do you know what wood was used? I guess she needs a sail, rigging, etc., too.

White Oak and mahogany for the structural stuff, and some flavor of marine plywood for the skin, with West System over the hull. I have the sheet for her and am working with Roger on the bronze fittings. I am going to use dynel on the decks with Kirby’s colonial yellow (maybe). I have the mast, but have to spend some time on it. It has a couple checks where the planks were glued up.

I have xynole for decking (20' Bolger Chebacco cat-yawl)with one coat of epoxy in it so that the weave provides footing. It was a messy job and is a long way from perfect (thus fitting in just perfectly on my boat, my skills). Used Kirby's #1 green-gray. Bill or George can fill you in on this color -- it seems that Hereshoff hisself concocted the color. Some folks tried to steal away with the rights for the color but Kirby's saw that curve ball coming. A bit warm on bare toes but okay and nice on the eyes in bright sun.

Sweeeet! Looks like she will scoot right along.
What's the weight? Is the double-axle trailer required for the boat?

I will have to look at the Green-Grey. Thanks for the tips. I am not sure of the weight as she stands now. I don't think the tandem axle is required, it came with her, and it sure pulls and tracks straight so far. I have 500 lbs of lead for ballast, which the plans call for.
