View Full Version : Speaking of illness

I was laid low this past week for a number of days with a fever which hovered at times to 104degrees-and a body that felt like I'd gone a round or twelve with Iron Mike. I sought medical help and the Doctor diagnosed sinusitis ( sinus infection) The funny thing to me was that I had no symptoms of sinus infection prior to, during, or after the illness or any sinus difficulty. He gave me a course of anti biotics to take which seemed to break the fever after the third day. Another symptom I had was absolutely aching lungs. Does this sound like sinus to any one else?

Ayah- that qualifies. tongue.gif

104 degrees is a pretty good fever- any hallucinations or other entertaining events? Aren't we supposed to be done by 106 or so?

I may not be a Doctor but I play one on TV and he has told us his symptoms.

BigRock has syphilis.....but then many symptums of syphilis are identical to HIV.

He also has started many new threads today and has posted endlessly.

If these symptoms persist.....suicide is an option.

Well other than some very strange dreams I dont recall any out and out hallucinations, and as for entertaining events probably the one I will remember with the most fondness is having a craving for smoked oysters ( and following my craving to the point of beginning to knife some onto saltines and then into my mouth ) and 10 minutes later crawling on hands and knees to the bath room where I could plunge my head under the shower head to quench my fever as the room shimmied about.
