Now for something completely different.
Tess Started first grade today.

I know I am guilty as some of the trolls on here.
But 1st graders have more civility than most of us on here.
Tess made a vase out of a wrapped coffee can and picked flowers ( weeds :D ) for her teacher. She came up with the idea all on her own. She waited at the bus stop with a young boy and politely said hello to her bus driver and all her friends on the bus. They all greeted each other with a smile and a genuine hello. They are much closer to the golden rule than WE all are.

It has been said that some of us (me included) behave like first graders. I think first graders are better than us. And they are just SO DAM CUTE smile.gif

So in honor of the 1st day of school for first graders I will try not to feed the trolls anymore today :D

Our picture of the school bus pulling away on our kid's first day is a little blurred...it's hard to see through the viewfinder when your eyes are misty...

Now he's in graduate school--gee the time went fast.

Cute girl, good thing she got her mother's looks!

I'm 22, but you'll have to ask Mom or Dad about bleary-eyed photos being taken.

Joe, these are the good years. We are just entering that pre-teen stage and I'm buckeling down for a rough ride.
