I have a 1957 34' Richardson Sedan. The fabric under the main cabin roof and over the cocpit has rotted. I am looking for a replacement fabric to maintain the originality of the boat. The fabric appears to be 1/32" to 1/6" tan threads pressed flat. Can anyone point me towards possible suppliers?

I have noticed that you have not had any replys as yet. Is it possible for you to post a sample picture of the material?

This is pretty easy. You need cabin liner- a vinyl material offered my any number of vinyl dealers- try a google search. Also can use a insulated cabin liner try www.heatshieldmarine.com. (http://www.heatshieldmarine.com.) Or, the nicest in my view are made by the RV industry- they are like a carpeting- waterproof and sound deadening. Contact Michael Pedula- michaelpadula@yahoo.com. He can supply all you need.

I don't have a photo close up. I am in St. Paul and the boat is in Yarmouth, NS. I have requested a friend to go under the tarp and cut off a piece to send me. I could go to vinyl, but I am trying first to match the headliner of the rest of the boat that is 95% original.
