Can anyone suggest any non-fiction books about sailing, the sea, etc? We're planning a vacation and there is always time to read an hour or so. I've read hundreds of these but I'm fresh out of new material.

Sorry, I missed the non-fiction part. How about "The Rudder Treasury"? A great book. Edited by Tom Davin.

A great thing is to hit the library for a range of locative stuff - town histories, geological studies, whatever.

Read everything by Samuel Eliot Morison.

Himself an accomplished sailor.

And a talented writer and historian to boot.
