    BilletProof

    Car Show Rules:
It seems obvious what Billetproof is all about, but some people out there still don't get it. So, we've had to actually post some rules this year. Read 'em and weep:

1964 and earlier TRADITIONAL style rods and customs ONLY!
No visible billet anything! Especially wheels!
Traditionally styled choppers and bobbers ONLY! (No modern West Coast Choppers, OCC style fluff bikes)
No trailered cars (race only vehicles excepted with prior approval)
No digital gauges (it's not traditional and it's ugly)
No IFS on fenderless cars (it's not traditional and it's ugly)
No mag wheels made after the 60's
Keep in mind that we have the right to refuse any vehicle WITHOUT A REFUND, so read the rules carefully and decide for yourself. Don't cry when we turn you away, tears stain billet.

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

Seems rather harsh and won't your meets get smaller as time goes by or stale with the same vehicles the only ones to show up year after year?

This is what hotrodding used to be. The new cars and bikes by the like of OCC and Boyd Coddington have become rather cookie cutter, no?

Nostalgic rods are turning into big business aren't they.

            Billetproof. LOL.

I was in buying some tyres for the Nanna the other day and hanging on the mag wheel wall was a set of 5 spoke Kragars. They deserve a place of their own in the world of wheel art I reckon.
