1973, suburban Connecticut: middle class families experimenting with casual sex, drink, etc., find their lives out of control

I like this move it's on IFC now.

My favorite recently viewed movies? Well, since you asked...

Rabbit Proof Fence- Australian

City of God- Brazilian (English subtitles)

both true stories, both very hard hitting, yet poignant.

Well if you want a thought provoking film, try Dawn of the Dead. It breaks new ground for a flesh eating zombie movie, celebrity zombies, the birth of a zombie baby and some gratuitous sex (among the survivors of course, zombie sex would just be over the line).

Today I watched 'the Lost Prince' about the youngest member of Britain's royal family during the pre-war and WWI years, his unique vision of the world in that very interesting time, and his sad death.

And then I watched 'Father Ted, season 1'. I'm not exactly sure what the heck that was about except it had some priests in it and it made me laugh.

I love 'Fawlty Towers' type humor. My wife and kids hate it so I have to watch it when there's no one at home!
