Wasn't he the image of optimism! I don't know that we've ever had a president as beloved as President Reagan. He loved life, his wife, his country passionately. I hope the memories he has left are wonderful ones. A light will go out when he dies.

Cheers go out to Ronald, and another good one, my second son. Two great people born on the same day. We will be blowing out an additional candle for him, too.

And thank you to all here who didn't care for him and his administration for showing the class to be silent. As Ii hope I would be if the shoe were on the other foot.

                  Much appreciated.

While life-guarding on the river as a boy, he saved 77 from drowning.

                    Quite a start.

Stunning that in later life he could far surpass even that accomplishment. God bless you & yours, Ronald W. Reagan.

I wonder if he knows that one of his biggest accomplishments, running up a bigger debt than any president in US history, has been surpassed by Shrubbie - and in only 3 years!

It always made me proud as hell to see Reagan poised with other world leaders-- chinamen and the like, and he just towered over them like the big American cowboy he was. Wonderful image for America. I wish him a happy birthday.

I knew it was above you, 'kat, to not get a jab in on a helpless man. He accomplishes more everyday in his current state of being than you do in yours!
