I am having difficulty locating a source of Okume plywood. Are there any sources within 100 miles of St. Louis, Missouri? I'm kind of leary about getting 4'x8' sheets shipped by UPS..

It is further than 100 miles, but check out our website at www.cedartreeinc.com (http://www.cedartreeinc.com) maybe we can work something out. Paul

Cedartree wouldn't load in Opera in the length of time I was willing to wait so I don't know about pricing there but among all the advertisers in WoodenBoat Magazine, Boulter was the least expensive, last time I checked. Quality is typical. If you only need a minimum total thickness of 14mm perhaps shipping cost from CLC will be worth looking in to.

I just ordered 27 sheets of 1/2 in from harbor sales they had the best prices and the best service . this is the second boat I got wood for from harbor .I can only think of good things to say about them .

Ditto on Harbor service and prices. They were that good 25 years ago and keep on keeping on.

Whoa, I stand corrected. Harbor Sales sells 4mm okoume for $10 a sheet less than CLC which was the same as Boulter, last time I got some.

That's a tough one. A google search on +"harbor sales" +plywood might be fruitful.

Ah, ha! http://www.harborsales.net/lookups.cfm?categoryID=11&subcategoryID=2&cat=Nautical%20%2D%2D%20Marine%20Panels
