Still $3.04 here.“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”― Mark Twain, -

At the big Citgo station out by Interstate 95 it was $1.999 for 87 octane when we filled up to go to Jacksonville this morning. When we came back it was $1.979 per gal. We filled up again. Toyota Camry V6 got 29.9 miles/gal at 75 mph and the AC running.Comment

$2.15, I think. But don't get used to it. Fluctuations are caused by the market being stretched tight, leaving it vulnerable to any shock to the system. You know. Peak oil and all. The shocks of hurricanes may have died down for the season, but there are plenty of other ways the world can screw up.

Wonder if the low Auto sales figgers that came out this week have anything to do with these lower gas prices. Couldnt be that they have too many suv's and trucks clogging up the parking lot's now could it?
Maybe I'll fill up the Roadmaster tomar..
