I think if someone gets hurt while breaking the law, then too bad. Perhaps he can be sued to pay for the repairs to the roof. This could go on and on and on.

Raised 3 boys and taught them to respect other people's property - ie, not cutting through yards on the way to somewhere else. If they had been injured ignoring this we wouldn't have sued anybody. We would have reminded them that they were somewhere they weren't supposed to be.

It all goes to teaching personal responsibility and respect for others.

smile.gif If y'all were our neighbors you'd be glad we taught the boys to respect the property of others. No matter how unpleasant the people were. tongue.gif

They wouldn't tromp on your grass and flowers, knock down your mailbox, throw rocks through your windows or let the dog relieve himself on your lawn. They wouldn't lean on your car or ride their bike in your drive. They wouldn't come into your yard without your permission. smile.gif

I suppose that Karen is an attractive nuisance to you guys. You don't bother to be reasonable but pile on just the same and then blame it all on Karen...of course you would think if your children got a belly ache while stealing green apples from the neighbor's trees that the neighbor should pay...vicarious burglars.
