On page 92 of the latest issue a reference is made to a "bungee cord" technique instead of stitch and glue. Having built at least three boats using the stitch and glue technique I am intrigued by this use of bungee cords. Anyone know more about it?

The author of that building method is a member of the Small Wooden Boat Assoc. of NS (SWBANS), of which I am past president, and we will be meeting this coming Saturday in Blue Rocks (outside of Lunenburg) for a paddle & BBQ. I expect that Bob will be there so I will ask him to explain. Of course, you could contact him directly at the e-mail address posted with the pictures in the magazine.
