JCSOH Terrorizes noted Naval Architect!

Just got back from the Pt. Townsend WB Festival where I ran into someone who was in Rhode Island for the WB Festival where JCSOH and gang were a couple weeks back (small world!)...

Seems that poor Phil Bolger HATES publicity or any kind of attention or to be mobbed and, according to my source, he was scared out of his wits by the (I'm sure well-meaning) attentions of JCSOH and the rest of the Uncas crew.

My source couldn't recall the name of any of the group, but when he mentioned that one of them put his arm around Phil and said "just look into the camera on my cellphone", there could be little doubt as to the identiy of the assailant! ;) :D

Ahhh come on he had fun, he seemed chatty and good natured and not at all opposed to shaking hands and the admiration of his fans. ;)

Don't worry, Mr Bolger's partner, Suzanne Altenberger is very formidable. She'd have protected him if Joe had stepped out of line.

Speaking from personal experience... Just the aroma eminating from any one of the "Uncas" crew could be considered "terrorism". Add to that the physical contact.... I'm betting poor Phil ran to the nearest decontamination shower and flushed his entire body, burned the clothes he was wearing, and has several blood tests done at evenly spaced intervals for next two weeks! :D

Oh yeah - and I'm only reporting what I was told by another WB staffer that was there and who probably knows PB better than any of us here... ;)
