Went to the family Dr. this AM so he could review the MRI report and decide on a referal. Said he'd never seen anything like the mess in Cheryl's back and hopes someone else knows what it is. Isn't sure if it's something that is operable. Told me to make sure I went with her to the specialist.

More to come...

Later,

Phil, Sorry to hear that, I hope they can get to whatever it is and remove it. Living near the Medical Center, I can ask some of my clients who they would recommend for the surgery. Tell your wife that I'm praying for her.

Best wishes for you all from here. I've heard of this before, and I know it's painful.

Something tells me that even if it's not operable, there is a regimen that can aid the body in rejecting it and healing itself. If I can get lucky with some searching, I'll see if I can find any references.

In the meantime, I'll pull out the prayers again.

So the MRI tech looks at the scan of my dad's back and says, "Wow. Look at that arachnoid cyst. I've never seen anything like that. Have you ever considered donating your body to science? No, really. I mean when you're done with it...."

Best wishes for the both of you.

The doctors told my sister-in-law Darlene she had 4th stage lung cancer and it was inoperable. They suggested she might have a few months to live. :( We were devistated........of course that was 2 years ago and she's still kickin. :D
When I pray now, I have come to expect miracles. Stay positive and add my gangs prayers to the mix.
