This is my new philosophy on life. I think that in another thread someone had hinted at this.

What is "One box at a time" you ask? While we were moving and trying to set up house, the pile of boxes everywhere were overwhelming. At that time I told the wife that we would take this moving one box at a time. We would open a box an empty and put everything away. We would than be one box closer to being done. We've still got a way to go, but we are getting there.

I'm now expanding that thought to life in general. When life just piles problems on top of problems and you seemed buried beneath a pile of "boxes", just start with one box and empty it out and put everything away and you will be one box closer. Before you know it the path will be clear and you can once again meet life head on.

Chad, the old farmers, faced with a daunting job, would say "hit it a lick every day."

That's what you're doing.

It works, and a great deal can be accomplished that way.

Alan, as I grow older I find that there is a lot of wisdom in those old sayings and cliches.

How about..."One man's junk is another man's treasure"? :D
or....5 pounds of crap in a 2 pound bag. tongue.gif

I think they created garage sales and flea markets for guys like us Chad. ;)

You have to classify, sort and agonize over each box then have a big bon fire in the back yard. :D

One box at a time. The real secret is knowing which box is next.
