View Full Version : An apology for a lapse of etiquette
A long-term WBF member and cyber-buddy pointed out to me that I was not in proper form yesterday in my replies to a thread here in the bilge. Regrettably, he was right. I allowed myself to rise to the bait of a troll and replied in a tone and language that I should not have. I try to hold myself to a higher form of discourse than the mere freedom of speaking my mind, but to practice civillity, decorum, and respect. I failed to do so yesterday, and to my friends here on the WBF I apologise for that lapse.

Well, as long as apologies are in the air....
Without apologising for my opinions about Bush and his illegal invasion, maybe I should apologise for treading on toes by expressing those opinions as forcefully as I have done.

Ya know Mikes, we are good men for the most part. Trying to find our way in difficult times. Be gentle with yourselves. You deserve it.

I'm pretty tolerant, I guess. I hold no grudges with anyone who has the courage to speak his or her convictions.
I only object when the tone starts to get abusive, as it does here once in awhile.
But, hey - there are some pretty emotionally-charged topics running around right now.
You're still good people.

Are you apologizing for your dressing Ish down for his bestiality pitch last night? :D

DAMN!!!!!!!! You mean I missed the one and only time the impeccably mannered and polite Michael of mmd lost his cool??? ...I never... honestly never... thought Id see the day that you would loose it mate your always so contained and cooly polite  ... mmmm wonder what it was that set yer off?? ah well such is life missed it again!
Never fear Michael its a better man you are for the apologizing... even though I have no idea what your apologizin for... its a good thing if your conscience and or friends make you take a step back and on reflection you decided to stand forth and apologize... a step above those who would say and do things that hurt intentionally or unintentionally without making such an effort as this.
Now tell me have you seen Bluenose lately? What about Elly? oh and about Elly mate how thick were her planks again? Im serious here!! sheesh
