59 F isn't that cold. Your description reminds me of how my hands and feet used to feel when I was smoking; nicotine interfers in circulation is what I was told then. Don't know if it's true, but after quitting the problems was much less severe.

Could be thyroid problems, too.

Wear a hat !

Sounds silly as hell, I know, but it'll work if you don't have any real medical problems. We lose most of our body heat from our heads so an insulated hat will often cure the problem.

I know from experience;it did for me.

htom, you're absolutely correct, smoking does cause constriction of the capillaries
and veins. So much so that, back when I was a smoker, fishing in winter became too uncomfortable on my hands and feet, 'till I quit smoking. Never had the problem afterwards so later I asked the doctor about it and he explained it to me.

Good Luck Dingo !

Dingo, I don't have a clue and that goes for the rest of us dimwits.

I do know that you have been under loads of stress lately and not ideal living conditions, you are also rapidly approaching the province of oldfartdom.

Get yourself to a doctor, you need a 75000 miles service, look on it as a treat. My motivation is selfish, I like reading your posts, it's awfully hard to write when you're dead (though some on here seem to try).

You have national health in Aussieland right? So use it. Here for just a visit, you'd be kissing goodbye to the best part of a hundred bucks, even so, and even being a cheapskate, given your symptoms, I would take my own advice.

And just in case you think you've got away "Scot" free. Give up the bloody coffin nails.

I like driving around with my hand down my pants.

Sandmaster that's the kind of thing Dutch would have said. I'm sure Shane would rather drive (or be driven) around with his hands down his Misuss' pants (insert crude comment here).

Seriously Shane, get to a Doctor

Give up the bloody coffin nails.See mate your flamin harpin on an on about me smokin (while under extremus duress I might add) has had me thinkin since your post the other week... Tiffany and Ben rocked up today and seein her with her once 6 packed young tummy now starting to swell as our first grandhoon starts to make his (yep a boy!! ) presence felt and known... I got to thinking while sitting pondering the timber in the humpy... what if I were to die simply due to these flamin mongrel things? what of dying slowly painfully? how would they all feel if that were to happen due to my smoking? then I let my mind wander a bit and saw a mob of grandhoons wondering who that curley haired old git was in the photos... oh that was poppy Shane he passed on before you were born... and the grandhoon only bein a tadpole would simply wonder at that old man with the smoke in his hand

So I went and bought meself a pack of them nicorette patches and havent had a fag since this morning 10am and its now 11.10pm so Im doin alright... damned woman keeps runnin out to her flamin car where I made her stick her smokes and I hear her out there lightin up havin a cuppa and lookin over the creek... ah well no worries damned hard but I'll do it no worries!

Gots me a grandhoon boy comin to thunk about now! :D

So I guess aside from my own self and the thoughts I had today I guess I got to say thanks to you mate for gettin me thinkin SERIOUSLY about stoppin again... cheers! I owe you one

It sounds too non-specific for us to go ahead and build one of these.
