Last week an elderly cousin passed away, elderly as in 98 years young. She never married and was very resourceful always taking care of anything that had to be done. Well we just went to a memorial service for her and I found out about something she did that I had never heard about. Just a few years ago she had been getting irritated about losing the view of the river from her house because a tree in the city park was gradually growing and blocking the view. Sooo one night she took her ladder and saw and started to prune the offending tree. :D The pruning went OK till the local tin badge happened to pass by and noticed her. Lady just what are you doing to that tree on city property? In the slammer she went.

Old people get a special dispensation. smile.gif Anyway they put the little old lady in the slammer, that should make you feel better.

Now then, let me clear this up. People should respect the property of others. When they don't there is usually a price to pay. Angry parents, angry neighbors, fines or jail. All are appropriate. What people should do and what they do are often two different things.

You choose your consequence by your behavior. We all do.

Harsh! Well, one day in my 90s I might cut down a tree and go to jail, so don't despair! smile.gif

On the other hand, Italians, and children condemned to death, are always wrong, and should pay dearly for it.

km gresham ---

At what age do old people get special treatment?

I have several acts I would like to commit, but thought better of it. But if I will wait until I am old enough and get special treatment, perhaps ...
