It will be cold here (relatively speaking) Christmas Day, likely to be frost on the roof and perhaps on the grass (which has finally stopped growing). Anyone else likely to have a white Christmas?

Nope, all green here, +9C, (about 50F), risk of thunderstorm today, and way above freezing mark forecast for the entire week. Southerly winds.

Happy Holidays to You.

We got a fair amount of snow on Sunday, cold & clear on Monday and heavy rainfall yesterday and today. Pretty much the usual X-mas weather in these parts

Bitter North West Arkansas weather commin. Last night's low will be today's high. Temps falling for the next few days to near zero with highs in the teens till Sunday...some snow.

The forecast in Lansing is for 8 to 12 inches of lovely, fluffy, white stuff, starting this afternoon and continuing through tomorrow.

Northern Michigan is already set for skiing!!

Grayling and Marquette are enjoying the snow. Schools closed in Grayling yesterday. Takes a bit of snow as they must get over 100 inches a year.

Glad I'll be able to ski here in Lansing over the weekend.

Only a little dusting of snow here, dammit, and no prospect of more any time soon. It's really too cold to snow much; -5F (-21C) this morning, with a serious NW wind.

Nope. High of 53 is forecast for today, and sunny. Rain tomorrow, and a high of 55. First year out of the past 4 that we won't be having a white Christmas.

Got smow.
But it's s'posed to go.
It's melting now, but melting slow
They say it'll rain soon and it's gonna blow.
Then it's gonna get cold again, and we get more snow.

I spoke too soon, we may get snow showers Christmas eve. This puts me in a dilemma, as I normally wear shorts and a T-shirt on Christmas day.

Barely enough to ski on. North at Hayward the Birkiebeiner trail is open full length. Not enough to run the race but thats still 8 weeks away.
Any other Birkie skiers here?
