Last night at dinner with a few friends (1 being a decorated Marine officer stationed at Quantico and another being a decorated Army officer stationed at the pentegon) a few things were said. I'd like to share them.

"Give Powell a week and he'll show the world exactly why we need to do this. It'll be a boot right up Kennedy and the skinny **** Dashel's a**. They are so far out of the loop all they can do is point fingers and make noise"

"Bush has to go round for round with those Democrats every once in a while and put them in thier places....just like that last election showed...nobody's listening to them (DNC) anymore."

"How many die hard liberals told you on september 12th that they were glad Gore isn't in the white house?...cause they know Bush will kick the right a**es".

For the LIBERALs from Maine and Washington state that read this............I don't know anyone in Northern Va that takes peace marches serious. When he said "give it a week"...I thought I'd pass that on.

It's reassuring to know that the officer corps is so loyal to a man who declined combat.

Although some would say that driving a fighter plane, Air National Guard or not, does take a certain amount of quickness, ability, and nerve...

Possibly more than that needed to go to the totalitarian enemy's capitol during wartime to conduct demonstrations against one's own free country...

It's one good thing about our system: the military is loyal to the man in office.

An officer criticize the President? Never heard it even once. Though there was this little ditty on the latrine wall. “Nixon did for the country what pantyhose did for [making out].” [Edited to a "G" rating. smile.gif ]
