I have no idea, but I do have this urge to say that I love that boat. I also admire the restorer for rescuing a boat that looked to be on its very last legs. Makes me want to take the ebay plunge for one of those "boneyard boats."

Mr. Know: You might have more luck searching within the land-based Lake Champlain historical realm than here. Ther're probably lots of historical photos and records from the 'thirties. That vessel would have been the pride of somewhere when new, and probably viewed as a noble contribution to the health, safety, and security of that region.
