PBS is going to have an ecology/environment oriented show on each night this coming week. Just saw one late last evening on the dangers of fish farms and many types of aquaculture in general.

Only in the US. As usual, you are the lone cowboys. The rest of the world celebrates Earth Day on June 6, and Labor day on May 1.

I agree that the US has an odd idea of when Labor Day is relative to the rest of the world, and it seems like there is not global agreement on when Earth Day should be either, but after a bit of Googling it looks to me like the most common date around the world for celebrating Earth Day is the Vernal Equinox in March...
