Why bother with all the fancy wrapping when you know you're just going to tear it off anyway?

I used to get her a bauble at this place $$$
I might pick her up a little something from there again she has been a great wife during the lean times.

Or I could get her what she really wants, a new powerbook laptop. She is taking on a lot of freelance work and it will pay for itself in a short time. Her old one is more than a little out dated.

lingerie doesn't stay on long enough to make it worth wile ;) ;) ;)

We've already got four kids, two dogs, a cat and a parrot between the two of us, why in the world would she want a lingerie model to have to clean up after?

That's all we need, another high maintenance pet!!

Good un Joe :D

But remember they don't eat all that much so it doesn't cost that much to feed them :D

I was looking at the jewelery catalog that came with Wooden Boat, but ...

I have 2 nice display cases that might be finished by Christmas.

It will mean more if you knit it yourself.

White Lies Designs (http://www.whiteliesdesigns.com/patterns/llingerie/132.html)

Of course you have to know how to knit, but I know how. A friend of mine says he's going to knit something like this for his wife while he sits in the laundrymat, partly to scandalize anyone who asks what he's making.

This thread smacks of a lame attempt at posting gratuitous pictures of ...

oops, i seem to be having a moment here, hang on a sec.

You mean stuff like this?

Or perhaps this:

You know, on reflection, I suspect you're right.

But then, MANY of the most pleasurable elements in life are in fact gratuitous... :D

Yeah, I can hear me talking to SWMBO now,
"Look what followed me home, she's so cute, and looks so hungry. Can we keep her, please!?!?! I promise I'll feed her and take care of her and give her baths."

Think she'd fall for it?

On the other hand, this is probably a pretty dangerous thread. I have a brother in law who reads the forum. Hi Scott!! You know I'm just kidding around, right? :D

Ah, lingerie. Plumbing memory, women like to be fussed over with silky and soft and scanty. Explain THAT you evolutionists! :D They also like chocolate, and nice jewelry(heavy on that).

It's spice, and what would food for our souls be without spice?

If you've got a good woman, adore her with gifts that make her feel loved. Small gifts work fine. Talking a thing out, even when you tire, is perhaps the best. Special, what she wants, not your silly image, but her. Silky, soaps, soft, scents, adoring. Women hold the mad world together. A wise man adores his mate.
